I think it’s really fucking ignorant to say that Chick-Fil-A should be supported because it’s a fast food restaurant and they “aren’t harming gays by serving chicken” so everyone should get over it.

Become aware of everything that’s going on before you blindly state something like that. That chicken you just ate? Yeah, I hope it tasted like fucking hate because you just helped donate to anti-gay organizations. But nooo…it’s a fast food restaurant so they can’t be harming anyone! Give me a break. Just because they aren’t physically chasing after gays with a freaking ax doesn’t mean their money isn’t going to harmful causes.

I’m so ready for all this shit about Chick-Fil-A to be over with. We all know they’re a company with a shitty view of same sex marriage that are going to do what they’re doing and hope that the TWO fucking people that support them are going to keep the business alive. Your ratings are already well below the national average because of this. Mess with equality, and the majority of America is going to get on you. I’m pretty sure this is a battle you really can’t win. Bye Chick-Fil-A.

I honestly don’t understand…

how people can stand in front of a congregation of people, some of whom surely know or are related to someone gay, and preach that they are sinners going to hell. How can they stand up there and try to use all this evidence from the bible that homosexuality is wrong? Why do you constantly CHOOSE what you want to follow literally out of the bible? How do you say to a parent that they need to keep their child coming to church so they KNOW how extremely sinful and wrong it is to love another person of the same gender? You need to breed them from a young age? REALLY? As said in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” So do we just ignore this statement? Do we put limitations on it? Do we say “Only love one another if they aren’t gay. Don’t love them if they sin.” Everyone sins. Jesus DIED so that we could be forgiven. Does that mean nothing for homosexuals? How is it that a person who goes to jail for murder has the capacity to be forgiven, yet someone who loves and is faithful to someone of the same sex could never be forgiven? An extremely anti-gay pastor said in a sermon regarding homosexuality in parents, “Young men that grow up in homes without fathers are twice as likely to end up in jail.” How ignorant. Those boys end up in jail because they did not have the love of a two parent home. Show me the statistic for those that come from a loving home of two lesbian or two gay parents. How are two same sex parents that would love that child more than half the people that go get knocked up a worse situation than a two parent home of unconditional love? Homosexual parents have to WORK to get their children. They have to go through red tape and shit that a 15 year old girl that got drunk and had sex with a random guy doesn’t have to do. Why is it wrong for that homosexual couple to have a child, when they WANT their kid?

I just don’t understand this. I understand how we live in a world supposedly so advanced, yet some of our ideals are so antiquated. Homosexuality is becoming more and more prominent, and while, yes, we have made many advances in this area, people like Pastor Sean Harris that preach so fervently against gays just show how far behind we still are.
